A Haircut VS. a TRIM!!

The other day, K and I decided to go spend the afternoon at the beauty shop. We've been there plenty of times before so I expected this trip to be no different.  We both got eyebrow waxes, manicures, pedicures and haircuts.  All I wanted was a trim...not too much to ask for, right!?! Well...apparently the guy who was cutting my hair did not feel the same. He was shear-happy! I went in with hair like this:
And this really isn't that great of a pic, but its one of the latest I could find...see how long my hair is???

Well.....

Not only did the guy hack my hair off, but he styled it all big and poofy...not my style.  I wanted to cry, literally.  Everyone says, oh it's not bad...it's cute. Yeah okay, but the thing is..I was not ready, AT ALL, to go short. I loved my long hair.  I woke up the next day thinking it was all a bad dream...and then I looked in the mirror.  :( I asked for 1-2 inches to be cut....I promise you, he cut more like 4-5 inches..and kept cutting!!! I have SOO many layers it's not even funny..and short layers...I hate layers..I am not a layers person...bleh!!! 

Here's to hoping my hair grows FAST!!! And , I can not wait to go home and get my girls to cut (more like trim, literally) and color it their way! My hair told me "never again!!" hahaa (okay, maybe it didn't, but still.)

Here is my hair today, after I attempted to fix it with the flat iron...I say attempt because again, I have soo many layers it's annoying!!
I really don't feel like these pics do justice for my complaining...haha

So, yes...this post is all about me complaining about my haircut, my apologies.

    I think the next time you go to that beauty shop you should call ahead and make sure that guy's not working!! I'm betting your girls here can make it look good and help you deal with the layers. But you are right-you are not a poofy hair person!! You have every right to complain. Did you complain to the manager? Or at least not tip him very much? Miss you and love you bunches!

    Mary, unfortunately they only have 3 guys that work there and are there at all times they are open. I just wont go to him next time! I did not complain, it's a little difficult with the cultural difference...it only cost $12...no need to not pay...not like it was super expensive. Mom, remember highlights are BAD!!!! HAHAHA, I will be getting them when I go home! AND TINNNAAAAA!!!!! Of course I know it's you!! :) (at least, I hope so...you're the one who says cuzzo and lots of xoxoxoxoxo's!) You're right--I still have both ears!
